tech fetish and tesseract: Why on EARTH would a video artist want
to lug so much gear??? In <tesseract>'s case, its essential to give
the flexibility required by a true live improvisational act. Hmmm, it
could also be a bit of tech-fetish too. Okay, a LOT of tech fetish...
actually, lugging is how we get our excercise. Anyway, the following shots
give some idea of the flexibility of the <tesseract> video lab.

Not so squeezy: we managed to fit the entire tesser rig into a DJ booth

Twins! One Sony TRV900 to play, the other to record. Thanks to VJ Cicada
for the loan of one of the babies. |

Always got to look for the right spot to patch tesseract into the audio
network too... |

This is the set up for all the live acts... always a challenge to fit everyone
on stage. |

Hmmmm, tech!!! The gear for three audio live acts in the foreground, and
a tech illustration for how to mix video on the screen, from tesseract's
set. |
